I had my wedding at Thornbury Farm in October 2016. Randall could not be a nicer human being. He was incredibly laid back and was open to lots of ideas and plans on our end. We had a cocktail hour across the street with a three piece band (outside the farm stand) and then we had a large rented canopy tent - which we also rented "walls" for due to the weather - we had this facing the barn and along side the cornstalks. It was truly beautiful - and despite some rainfall - we had a beautiful day! Our ceremony was originally planned for outside, but when the rain had other plans, we moved it all inside our tent and the farm staff were awesome with making this happen quickly. Randall also procured some bails of hay for some seating ambiance during the ceremony and we collected scraps of fabric to lay over them. Our decor was pretty simple - we rented tables, table clothes, chairs, napkins, and glassware. We had compostable plates/forks/knives for our meal. We rented port-a-potties (i think three of them) if you can get accessible potties - those were much roomier for the bride in her dress. :) We rented a dance floor for inside the tent and we also rented school buses to take people from the hotel (Great Valley Sheraton) to the farm. Highly recommend this venue! I would also recommend hiring a wedding planner to help with the planning leading up to and the day of the wedding - and definitely get referrals from past clients for the wedding planner!
