JH Events & Design specializes in creating beautiful weddings that are authentically you. Our goal is to streamline your planning experience and allow you to enjoy your special day with your loved ones. We provide a multitude of services ranging from Day of Coordination to Full Planning & Design, and everything in between. Your coordinator will team up with you to produce an unforgettable event that will be unique to you and your fiancé. From finding the perfect place to say “I do,” to your last dance, we will be with you every step of the way.

 

During a complimentary consultation, you will have the opportunity to look through our portfolios, learn more about our services and ask questions. Once we determine what services are needed through this consultation, a proposal will be customized to fit your specific needs. Please contact us to schedule your initial consultation.


Packages - JH Events & Design

Day of Coordination Package

Perfect for the couple that has planned most of their wedding, but needs a professional to be on location to answer questions, offer advice, and coordinate the details on their wedding day so they can relax and enjoy their perfect event.

This package includes the following services:

 

Before Your Wedding

  • Three pre-wedding consultations
  • Access to our Preferred Vendor list
  • Confirmation of all wedding vendors prior to the wedding
  • Creation of a detailed rehearsal & wedding day timeline
  • Coordination and presence at ceremony rehearsal

 

 

On Your Wedding Day

  • Behind-the-scenes set up, cues and assistance in orchestrating your ceremony
  • Coordination and styling of ceremony and reception details: decor, centerpieces, welcome table, favors, menu cards, table numbers, escort cards, etc.
  • Distribution of flowers to VIPs and coordination of pinning boutonnières
  • Liaison for all vendors; venue, caterer, DJ, officiant, photographer, hair & make-up artists, etc.
  • Assistance throughout the day to ensure the program runs smoothly and all your plans are carried out
  • Provide our complete "Preparedness Kit"
  • Solve any unforeseen snags
  • Final touches for wedding party; bouquets in hand, ties are perfect, hair is in place, etc.
  • Direct the wedding party through ceremony processional
  • Distribution of final payment and gratuity to vendors
  • Up to 8 hours on location to handle all the details so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your day

 

 

 

Partial Planning

Designed for the couple that has planned many details of their wedding, but needs a professional to assist with pulling together all the pieces, be on location to answer questions, offer advice, and coordinate the details on their wedding day so they can relax and enjoy their perfect stress-free event.

This package includes the following services:

 

Before Your Wedding

  • Up to 10 hours of consultations to be used for planning purposes, determined by you
  • Coordination of the wedding rehearsal
  • Wedding planning spreadsheet to assist in creating your itinerary and details
  • Planning meeting to discuss final details

 

Couples typically use these 10 hours for:

  • Creating a detailed budget & monthly to do list
  • Vendor recommendations – photo/video, DJ/band, officiant, flowers/décor, cake, etc.
  • Sourcing unique or hard to find items & services
  • Dedicated décor planning
  • Planning meetings
  • Vendor visits and contract reviews
  • Itinerary planning
  • Creating an inspiration board for décor
  • Final venue meeting
  • Creating an itinerary package for helpers, vendors, and wedding party

 

On Your Wedding Day

  • Supervision and execution of the setup for all aspects of the ceremony
  • Behind-the-scenes assistance in orchestrating your ceremony schedule
  • Coordination and styling of ceremony and reception details: décor, centerpieces, welcome table, favors, menu cards, table numbers, escort cards, etc.
  • Coordination of reception details and liaising with Caterer, DJ, Officiant, Photographer, and others
  • Distribution of corsages to VIPs and coordination of pinning boutonnières
  • Assistance throughout the day to ensure the program runs smoothly and all your plans are carried out
  • Access to my “Wedding Day Preparedness Kit”

Full Design & Facilitation

For the busy couple who have their hands full, this package was created for you. Full Service Design & Facilitation covers all the bases. With support from the very beginning, we guide you through every aspect of the planning process, while ensuring that your experience is fun, easy & stress-free.

This package includes, but is not limited to assistance with:

 

Before Your Wedding

  • Comprehensive venue search –  recommendation, research, analysis, visits, and contract review
  • Unlimited meeting & coordination time (Skype, phone, or in-person)
  • Budget preparation, allocation, recommendations
  • Recommendation for all vendors, attendance of vendor meetings, facilitation of vendor bookings
  • Advice on wedding etiquette and stationary wording
  • Sourcing unique items & services
  • Recommendations on where to shop for wedding attire and accessories
  • Theme and style development for a cohesive look, including colors, design, rentals, and decor
  • Development of detailed wedding day itinerary
  • Coordination of the wedding rehearsal
  • Assistance in ordering save-the-dates, wedding invitations, and all printed materials
  • Tracking of guest RSVPs

If there were 6 or more stars, I would have given that many to Jamie! She is fantastic! We hired her as a "day of" coordinator for my daughter's wedding and my husband and I agreed that this is the single best decision we made for the wedding! Jamie is the kind of professional who works tirelessly on behalf of her clients and was as invested in the success of our wedding as we were, going so far over and beyond our expectations to help ensure that the wedding went perfectly. From the moment we hired her, she started helping with issues with the caterer and rental company and was in constant contact with my daughter about a myriad of wedding issues. We nicknamed her "Wonder Woman" and truly don't know what we would have done without her. There was a crisis with our musician a week before the wedding and Jamie solved it for us within an hour! Onsite, she managed our set up, decorated the cake (beautifully!), interfaced with vendors and much much more. And although our contract called for her to leave at 9 pm, she stayed until after 10:30, helping us clean up. I could go on....! I only wish I had hired her sooner to do the planning as well! She is that good.

Jamie is a complete professional and so good at what she does. She was essential in making sure my daughter’s day was perfect and went off without a hitch. I could never have done it without her. She brought all our plans to life, making sure every detail was perfect. I was able to enjoy the day and not worry about a thing. I am so grateful to her!
