The Seaport Inn and Marina is located on the beautiful New Bedford-Fairhaven waterfront. Our property is a hotel, marina, restaurant, and event venue with the space to accommodate wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, as well as receptions, and breakfast/brunch the day after the wedding. We have two main event rooms; the Grand Ballroom has a capacity of up to 350, and the Commodore Room has a capacity of up to 120. In addition, we have a Hospitality Suite which is used a lot for group bookings with the hotel as a central meeting place, and also as event space. In addition we are lucky enough to have some breathtaking backdrops for photos.

With your booking you will receive our bridal dressing room, which give the bridal party the luxury of not running around on the big day. You can have your salon(s) come to you - a definite stress reliever.

Since purchase in 2008, the majority of the property has been renovated. Most recently the Grand Ballroom renovation was completed, and we are proud to say is looks amazing! There is always a project going on to update and beautify the property.

Ceremony Package:

Having your ceremony here includes multiple consultations, using your vision to create your dream ceremony. White chair covers with white sashes, aisle runner, decorative items, draping, up lighting for ceremony area also included.

Also included with your booking is use of our Bridal Dressing Room. Taking advantage of this takes the stress out of rushing the day of your wedding to get from one appointment to the next, you can have your salon(s) come to you so you can relax and enjoy your day!

Referrals for trusted officiants are available on requet.

Michelle at the Seaport Inn and Marina made my life so much easier before, during and after my wedding! She is such a pleasure to work with and really took charge to ensure that nothing was missed to bring my wedding vision to reality. She worked tirelessly - along with her staff - to make our event memorable not only for us but also for our guests. I would highly recommend the Seaport Inn and Marina and Michelle McAdams for any special event in the area!

Michelle and The Seaport Inn saved our wedding! Our initial venue fell through six weeks before the big day and we were in a panic. A friend suggested that we contact Michelle at the Seaport Inn to see if they could accommodate us. From the moment we met Michelle, we instantly felt that we were in good hands and that everything was going to turn out for the best. She took our ideas to the next level and totally saved the day! We had both our wedding ceremony and receiption at the Seaport. I can honestly say it was so much more beautiful than we could ever have imagined and we owe it all to Michelle and her staff. We did not have to worry about a thing, every detail was taken care of and we were able to enjoy our wedding day completely STRESS-FREE!!!

The food was excellent - many of our guests commented to us how good everything was. We did a buffet, but they offer so many choices. The staff even made a special meal for my step-daughter who has a food allergy.

The Seaport also is located right on a marina and has a GORGEOUS view of the ocean for photos.

We were provided with a bridal suite for the girls, which was such a nice touch! A beautiful and comfortable place for us to get dressed and made up for the big day.

Staying overnight in the hotel rooms was also a nice option - We were able to go right upstairs after the night was over. The hotel blocked off a group of rooms for our guests and the wedding guests received a discount on the room price. The pillows on the beds are awesome!

Overall, we could not be happier with our experience at the Seaport Inn. Our wedding would have probably been a disaster, had we not found Michelle. She is a true professional and is fantastic at her job. She and her staff made our day perfect and stress free - What more could a bride and groom want?
