Why am I a photographer? I am not really sure. It is something that I love. Photography is who I am. Photography is what I do. Ever since my junior year of high school I have not been able to put down my camera. I was entranced by the ability to capture one singular moment in time and hold onto it forever. For most people what they do in high school is just for fun. It may become a hobby, but usually nothing more. For me it became my life.

I am a teacher, a wife, a mother, a photographer. I try to extend my love of photography to those around me whether it is in the classroom, or through the portraits and events that I have been to. Photography can truly capture a feeling, a meaning to life and I want to pass that on.

I felt that we got a lot of bang for our buck with our photographer Meredith Stevens Photography. Meredith even volunteered to do things that I didn't even know to ask her to do, such as take pictures during the rehearsal dinner and during the set up before the wedding. Some of our most beautiful pictures are from the set up, and we wouldn't have them if Meredith wasn't as creative. She has vision! The wedding book is stunning. We have a gorgeous coffee table book of our special day and if I had a dollar for every compliment I've gotten on it, then I could practically pay for the book itself with that alone. Since then we've asked Meredith to also take pictures at our daughter's 1st birthday party! We plan to include her in the future for many other milestones!

Meredith was exceptional! Even though she had not shot a Greek Orthodox Wedding before, she managed to capture all the moments of the Sacrament with precise detail and clarity. The pictures did not only depict the service, but had an artistic quality like no other. In general, the before, during, and after the wedding pictures were all above what we had expected! She provided us with pictures that were traditional wedding shots and pictures that can easily be placed in an art show or photography contest. We can clearly say that our daughter's wedding album is unique and spectacular! She is extremely easy to work with, follows personal requests to the dot, and has a fun personality. Don't hesitate to request her services!

Meredith knew exactly how to capture each detail of that day. She had amazing ideas that exceeded my expectaions in print. Her prices were very reasonable and well worth it too. I didn't have to wait forever to get my pics, they were ready within a few days rather than weeks. I would hire her again without hesitation.
