Well, well. Where to begin? Nathan is an absolute doll and one of the most amazing photographers I've ever known. We had our wedding in an old movie theatre. I had resigned myself to having OKAY pictures--I mean, it's a old dark theatre, so the lighting isn't ideal, and unless I wanted to hire a magician, I would have to settle for mediocre shots of the ceremony. Right? WRONG! To my delight, the ceremony pictures came out crystal clear and gorgeous. You would think you were looking at at a flipping magazine photo spread! How the heck did he do that? Maybe he IS a magician..... Nathan is extremely efficient, which is of utmost importance on your wedding day--time goes by so, so quickly, and you need to cherish every single moment as much as you possibly can. Thanks to Nathan's utter professionalism and ability to get wonderful shots quickly and perfectly, I was able to do just that. I'm sitting here three days after my wedding with a huge smile on my face. It could not have been more perfect, and Nathan was a huge part of that. I've already gotten a sneak peek at some of the pictures and--oh my god--they are AMAZING. There's a great assortment of posed shots and candids and portraits. Matt and I are so lucky Nathan was there to chronicle the memories of our beautiful day. (It somehow looks MORE beautiful than we remembered!) Personally, my favorite kinds of photographs are candids. Posed portraits are lovely, and Nathan definitely took some STUNNERS, but for me, candids are where it's at. I love looking at photographs that capture a moment. You know? Nothing beats a natural expression. Anyway, Nathan did an awesome job with stealthily taking pictures on the sly. I didn't even realize he was snapping away 90% of the time! Maybe in addition to being a magician, he's a ninja.... One thing Nathan did that really stands out. After dinner, he came up to me and Matt and asked if we'd like for him to sneak us away for a few minutes so we could have some time alone. Yes, yes, yes, please! It was nice to go outside and get a short breather from all the chaos. How thoughtful and intuitive is that?! He was like that all day... he continually helped calm my sometimes frazzled nerves with the right words. Maybe he's a therapist, as well.... Magician, Ninja, Therapist .... any future bride and groom would be lucky to have triple threat on their team. If you're reading this, Nathan, thank you so much for being on ours.
