In addition to providing the absolute the best in musicians and live music entertainment, we also wear costumes during our performances from the particular era that we're playing music from to enhance our music and shows. With Hawaiian Funk, we wear '70's disco clothing, platform shoes, bell bottoms pants & afro wigs. For Geeked Out, we play '80's pop, rock and funk while dressed as nerdy geeks. Lastly, Metal Island is an '80's hard rock band that also represents the era with full on rock star attire. All three bands are completely self-contained and own their own full PA sound system ( 2 mains, 2 sub woofers, 2 power amps, a 16 channel mixing board, 5 mics & 3 stage monitors ) as well as thousands of dollars worth of lighting and effects which provides you, the client, the highest quality of musical entertainment for your dollar & guaranteed professional level sound reinforcement for every performance. By owning our own PA, Paradise Productions 808 allows you to save your extremely valuable time & money by not having to look for and hire an unfamiliar sound and lighting company to run sound reinforcement for your very special event. We also have our very own in-house DJ ( DJ Baumer ) with over 7,500 songs in his music library. Our bands play a total of two 45 minute sets with our DJ spinning songs before, in between & after each of our sets.
