This is Mexican cooking at its best. It is the cuisine of the women of the village of Tenango de Valle, nestled in a valley outside Mexico City, NOT Iberian, Caribbean, Latino or Central American... pure Mexicano mostly from el Estado de Mexico and surroundings (Toluca, Jalisco, Guadalajara) with some regional dishes from the Yucatan, Oaxaca, Verzcruz. Authentic fresh ingredients, prepared and served by Mexican women; festive in its color and flavor, steeped in tradition, right down to the tortillas made by hand, right there in front of your guests, hand-thrown and hand-painted clay pots and plates, mouth-blown glassware and hand-embroidered table linens all brought to your home and guests con mucho gusto. Provecho!

Our cuisine and cooking techniques are truly authentic Mexican. We still grind many of our salsas by hand in a molcajete, using recipes that have been handed down through the generations; preserving the amazing gastromony and cultural integrity that is Mexico!
