The first that a bride and groom usually need to decide on when they are planning a wedding are the wedding guests. They need to decide on a limit of how many wedding guests they can afford and then they have to start making their list. As they make the list of their wedding guests they may have to put limits on who they invite.
Wedding guests usually consist of family and close friends. Other wedding guests may include coworkers and then acquaintances. How many wedding guests are invited usually depends on the expense and the size of the church and reception. There is no set rule on how many wedding guests can be invited. The choice of how many wedding guests are invited is all up to the bride and groom. Wedding guests are usually asked to respond by a certain date so that the couple know how many people will be attending the festivities.
The wedding colors are usually picked by the bride, though a groom may have his say in the wedding colors also. A bride picks her favorite colors as her wedding colors. The wedding colors will be used in decorating the church and the reception hall. The wedding colors will also be used in the bridesmaid dresses.
The wedding colors are also used in the stationary, thank yous and favors for the wedding day. Usually the centerpieces at the reception also use the wedding colors. Since people will know that those colors are important to the bride and groom the wedding colors may play a part in what type of gifts the wedding guests decide to give them.
Having wedding colors is popular but not necessary. A wedding can be all white if that is what the wish is. Having wedding colors is merely a choice.
A very important part of a wedding is deciding who will be attending the ceremony and the reception. The bride and groom usually invite their guests using stationary. The stationary can be in all different styles, but it usually matches the color theme of their wedding. Picking out stationary can be done onsite in a wedding store or online, whichever is easiest for the bride and groom. Stationary is very important. Getting just the right stationary may take some time.
The stationary is usually personalized with their name, the date of the wedding and any other important information. There is usually an R.S.V.P. card included along with a matching envelope. Once they have their stationary they will need to begin addressing their guests. This is usually done by hand, although some people do use labels if they have a lot of people that they wish to send them to.
Once they have the stationary picked out they usually get matching thank yous in the shape of cards to send out after they receive their wedding gifts. Once again, the thank yous are usually addressed by hand. Inside the thank yous they will write down what they received as a gift and that that person for giving to them.
It is very important to send out thank yous.
Usually the newlyweds will write out the thank yous together. They can split the thanks yous in half and each do a set of them. It is important that they send out the thank yous. Peopel really appreciate getting the thank yous. Many women like to learn calligraphy when they are sending out their wedding stationary and doing their thank yous.

Weddings are extremely sentimental and will be remembered forever. It is the beginning a new life together and man and wife and the couple never forgets the wonderful day and all the people that shared it with them.
