One way to choose the wedding colors is to consider your location and the season when the wedding will take place. If it is an autumn wedding, then use colors that have strong hues of red, orange, yellow and brown. Winter weddings can have the colors white, blue and purple. Spring and summer weddings often have bright colors such as yellow, pink and green. Also, if you have a particular theme in mind, your wedding colors should reflect that theme.
The bridal party attire is also a great opportunity to wow your wedding guests with some of your creative ideas. Many brides are choosing to not do the traditional route of having each bridesmaid dressed exactly the same. One way of doing this is to have the bride select the color and dress length and let each bridesmaid choose a unique dress that is a shade of that color. Another creative option is to have the bridesmaids in different colored dresses that all match in style or texture.
