“This was a wonderfully intimate event. Heather and John chose to get married at the Garden Terrace at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, catered by Nourish Events. What really resonated with me was the overall sense of family and good humor. I was truly honored to be a part of their day. Heather’s wedding dress was amazing! The dress was purchased by her grandmother in 1962 for her wedding. It is hand-cut Chantilly lace and truly vintage. Heather’s mom then wore it for her wedding in 1984, followed by Heather in 2011.”

“Heather and John chose to do 3 dinner stations including Brasserie, Spanish Flavor, and Classic Bistro. This allowed guest to try a variety of foods and mingle with the bride and groom. The Brasserie station featured an arugula salad with fresh herbs, pancetta, egg and truffle vinaigrette, asparagus risotto, chicken roulade of spinach morel mousse with thyme jus lie and clementine carrots. The Spanish Flavor station was one of the crowd favorites with the vegetarian paella and seafood paella. It was important for Heather and John to include this type of dish because they had been to Spain several times. The Classic Bistro station featured braised boneless beef short ribs with creamy point reyes polenta, an asparagus salad with horseradish vinaigrette, and marinated haricot verts with crumbled goat cheese and pine nut vinaigrette.
After dinner guests were invited to visit the Bittersweet Chocolate Fondue station. At this station guests could choose from a variety of items to enjoy with their bittersweet chocolate. Angel food cake, almond macaroons, strawberries, pretzel sticks and marshmallows were among the favorites. Fresh seasonal fruit along with mini vanilla crème brules and vanilla and chocolate caramel macaroon lollipops were also offered. Paired with fresh coffee and hot tea , this wrapped up a delicious experience for Heather and John and their family and friends.”
